Called to Serve
Duncan Joash: Called to Reach a Generation
Pastor
My name is Duncan Joash, and by the grace of Jesus Christ, I was called to ministry while I was still a young man. Since then, I have continued to serve God, and I have seen Him change lives through the ministry He has given me.
One of those lives is a young man with whom I shared the message of salvation. At the time, he was struggling with alcohol. God changed his life, and today he is a servant of God. Seeing that transformation has strengthened my belief that Jesus Christ is our Savior.
My greatest prayer now is for the young generation. There are many young people who do not yet know Jesus Christ, and I want to see their lives changed so that they, too, can serve God.
These young people are the generations that will come after us. They have the opportunity to make an impact on society, and my prayer is that they will come to know Christ and use their lives to make a difference in their communities.
I am currently receiving training at Divine Providence Training Center (DPTC), and that training is strengthening my ministry through the Word of God. I am learning how to teach sound biblical doctrine and how to better share Jesus with others—helping them understand who He is and why they need salvation.
I am grateful for what God has already done, and I look forward to seeing how He will continue to change lives, especially among the next generation.
