Solar panels in sunlight, standing in for appropriate technology

Our Work

Technology

Practical technology that expands access and capability.

CTLI treats technology as appropriate technology: tools that fit Kenyan energy, endurance, and ingenuity.

The E⁴ model specifically references solar power, water purification and distribution, and computer skills from basic operation and email through Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, intended for a business center accessible to the community.

Water work is also told as an impact project: purification at Camp Chemi Chemi with the aim of serving students, staff, and neighbors.
